Williams Studio by Scott Meivogel

The work I have been doing for Williams Studio in Grand Rapids has been mainly photography. There has been a few writing assignments, but the main focus has been to photograph their completed kitchen and bathroom jobs. Williams has been using the images on their website and to add to their project portfolio on Houzz.

The design team at Williams Studio is outstanding, so if you are are building a new home, are in the market for a kitchen renovation, or simply need some new hardware, go pay them a visit.

Big Lake Outfitters by Scott Meivogel

Big Lake Outfitters, the largest outfitter in Saugatuck, Michigan was in need of an updated and modern website. The website must be completely mobile, as many of their clients are out-of-town folks looking for a West Michigan experience. The website also needed to appeal visually to its visitors, so a full day of photography was required. And that's what we did! We managed to capture the full capacity of what BLO offers, which resulted in a fully functional, mobile and visual appealing website.

You can check out the website here, and take a look at some of the images below. A big shout out goes out to the models who braved the cool spring weather and did one heck of a job! And if you're looking for an awesome weekend of fun on the blue waters, hit up BLO and ask for Adam!

Up North | Michigan by Scott Meivogel

6 days without a real agenda, just a general idea of where our explorations will take us. We had a amazing little cottage near Glen Lake for the initial 3 days, which allowed us to explore the Leelanau Peninsula and its vast open spaces, fishing towns, clear shorelines, wineries and breweries. Star gazing in Northern MI is plentiful, but it seems to always be magical near Glen Lake. The Milky Way and its numerous shooting stars, comets, and roaming satellites makes for a great night.

The second half of the trip was spent at a waterside campsite on the Tahquamenon River, just a short drive from the norther tip of the United States. The Great Green North is something that everyone should experience, as it's as close as you'll get to the wildness of Maine, at least here in the midwest. It's why we moved here and it's why we'll go back every year.
